Are you a visiting pilot from
overseas?

You need to bring the following/
Make sure you bring your log book and proof of
membership of your national aero club or
national gliding organisation. You also need
your medical declaration, or get one here. We
will join you up with a local Gliding Club and
take care of the Gliding New Zealand fees.

This is what we can do for you/
Cross country courses, familiarisation flights,
ridge flying, wave flying. Once checked out and
cleared you will be able to use the local club's
fleet at club rates.
Courtesy vehicles available and transport to
and from the City or Airport can be arranged.
Do you want to learn to fly?

Gliding in New Zealand/
All gliding operations in New Zealand happen
under government of Gliding New Zealand, by
approval of the Civil Aviation Authorities. All
gliding pilots must be registered with GNZ
through affiliation to a local gliding club or
commercial gliding organisation.

Joining a club and train with us/
You may join a local gliding club on your own,
and benefit of the excellent free training they
provide. Or you may speed up things a little (a
lot actually...) and start your intensive flying
training with us. We cater for your needs,
whether you are alone or in a group, want to
fly during weekdays or in the weekend.
