Soaring New Zealand Ltd. • Mission Statement/ Soaring NZ caters a service otherwise not provided by local gliding clubs. We organise gliding trips for overseas pilots, cross country courses for advanced local pilots and we sell trial flights for local gliding clubs. However, Soaring NZ is an independent organisation and soon to be affiliated with GNZ to operate independently. • Corporate Events/ Event management is our forte and we have 25+ years experience in organising events for groups from 5 to 5000 people. Now we wouldn't like to fly 5000 people in a day, but if you want something out of the ordinary for your employees, and at the same time fund raise for a local gliding club - you should call us first! • Disclaimer & Warranty/ All bookings and actual flights on the day are subject to weather conditions. Flights cancelled because of bad weather are elligible for a refund. Flights can be cancelled by you a week in advance free of charge. Flights cancelled later can not be refunded. All Gliding Operations are governed by Gliding New Zealand Inc, under authorisation of the Civil Aviation Authorities. All flights mentioned and sold are trial flights only. This means all flights are actual flying lessons and are flown under command of an authorised B-cat instructor. To be able to fly you will have to sign an indemnity form and become a member of Soaring NZ for the day, or sometimes become a member for a day of the local gliding club. Membership fees are included in the flying fees. |
